Deprecating Rules in favour of Automation for Jira
See the new Automation Components that work with Automation for Jira.Expression values allow you to access data within the event that triggered the rule and use them in rule actions.
Expression Language
The expression language is based on the dot notation method to access attributes of objects between double square brackets, e.g.
[[build.result]]
to access the result of the build in the event that triggered the rule execution.
